In an attempt at new-level advertising for the launch its new Nikon D700 camera, Nikon has mounted a big light-box billboard in a subway station in Seoul, Korea.
The billboard is filled with life-like images of paparazzi who appear push and nudge to get a snap of you (or any other passerby).
Further still, the company installed a red carpet for the civilians who feel important to follow. Conveniently it leads to out of the station, into the mall nearby, and straight into a store where they can purchase the new D700.link

Feeling Like We’re Home


Swedish furniture giant IKEA has converted the Kobe Portliner Monorail and four important metro stations in Paris into a moving showroom. Furniture collections are currently displayed in high-traffic spots, giving the potential customers a chance to interact with the brand by checking out the products. At the same time subway walls are filled with prints showcasing IKEA interiors. link

This cool advertisement in the subway Cantagalo, in Copacabana – Rio de Janeiro is advertising Sony Pictures 2012 movie. Get it, it looks like the tunnels have ruptured and are flooding and everybody is about to die. link

HomePlus Subway Ads


The commercial titled Plus to Your Life – Homeplus. Stickers were applied to the subway station pillars in order to make them look like life-size HomePlus supermarket stands. The intended effect was to make the people entering the subway station feel like they were stepping into the HomePlus supermarket. HomePlus outdoor campaign began a month before the store opening. No TV/Print ads were carried out for HomePlus. As a result of this unique outdoor campaign, the sales for the opening day exceeded the expected sales by 550%.link

Grown closer than you may think


The world famous potato chips company Lay’s lets people believe that they grow their potatoes above the Jackson Tunnel. Nice way the catch your attention. The billboard in the tunnel says for obvious reasons: “Our potatoes are gown closer than you may think”. link

Wonderbra Yellow Safety Line


This ambient idea plays on the yellow safety line at above-the-ground MRT stations, wich tells people how far from the track they need to stand to be safe. A second yellow line was used to demonstrate that, with the bust-enhancing effects of Wonderbra, those who use the product need to be even farther back. link
