BMW i8 – Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol

The BMW i8 Concept Car innovative laser lights, with headlights more efficient than LED lights that are absolutely safe. It combines the best of both worlds because is a plug-in hybrid with a turbodiesel engine of three cylinders, and it also has two electric motors with 139 horsepower that permits an acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (160 mph) that is electronically limited, which is pretty awesome! Its battery (that can be charged from domestic power supply in less than 2 hours using 220V ) makes it possible for the BMW i8 to travel some 20miles on electric power alone.
In the film “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”, Tom Cruise can be seen driving this amazing car that will be ready by 2013. link
Rinspeed Dock+Go

If you like small cars, this is the perfect one for you. Frank M. Rinderknecht is the Swiss creator of the “Dock+Go” mobility concept that will be presented in March 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. The key feature of this electric car is that it has a third axle with two wheels that can have any electric city car as the basis for its “Dock+Go” mobility concept. A combustion engine or range extender, which is called the “energy pack”, provides added range for getting to more distant destinations. Solar power from the roof can recharge the batteries of the energy pack. If everybody has two axles, why not having three, right?. link
BMW Vision Connected Drive

This BMW Concept Car designed by Adrian van Hooydonk is called “Vision Connected Drive” and it features the classic BMW grille and logo, but the rest of the design is more aggressive compared to the familiar standard. This concept aims at connectivity with the mobile device of the driver using either an iPhone or an Android system as a gateway between the user’s own suite of apps, and the tech of the automobile . The interior is driver orientated, and it has a 3D head-up display screen that overlays sat nav information into the front’s view. Apparently, BMW is not going to build this car, but they wanted to show off their latest design and developments in technology… Well, we think they have succeeded in that aspect! Link

What makes this BMW i3 Concept is its eDrive technology that consists of an amazingly agile electric motor that was developed and built by BMW; it also has an innovative battery technology as well as an intelligent engine management system . This awesome BMWi3 Concept Car can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h (37 mph) in less than four seconds, and from the rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under eight seconds. Renault Zoe ZE Concept Car

Renault describes this “Zoe Zero emission (ZE) concept car “ as a compact Saloon car. This concept car features an electric 73-horsepower motor that gives a range of 100 miles, and has a weight of 1400kg and a length of just 4.1 meters – its size is similar to that of the current Clio model. This current form is unlikely to reach production, but Renault has pledged to manufacture the Zoe in summer 2012. link
Renault Ondelios Concept Car

The Renault Ondelios concept is interpreted by its manufacturers as a “high end crossover utility vehicle for the future.” The design director of Renault, Patric Le Quement, said “We think of it as made from a single material, where the body and glazed areas merge into one. Ondelios is a glimpse of what the automobile might be in the medium term future.” It offers up to 6 seats, and features both, a carbon fiber body for lowering weight, and also a diesel hybrid engine with 2 electric motors – one in each axle. Its items are quiet expensive, so producing these concept vehicles are unlikely. Link
Hyundai Blue Will Concept

This Blue Will plug-in hybrid Concept car developed by Hyundai is low weight and can run solely on its battery made of lithium polymer for a range of 20 to 40 miles; it features low-friction tires and full-length undercover for better economy of the fuel. It has an engine directly connected to the drive wheels that runs in parallel with the electric motor. It is not known whether Hyundai will make this concept car into a production model, or not. link
Renault Fluence ZE Concept Car

Renault produced a string of electric ZE (Zero Emmissions) vehicles for the Motor Shows in Frankfurt 2009, one of them being the Fluence. This concept car is fully electric and it features a 95bhp motor. It has a range of 100 miles from the battery pack and a kerb weight of 1600kg. At least in terms of style, it is pretty much production ready. Renault announced its production for last year’s summer. Link
Alfa Romeo 4C Concept

This Alfa Romeo 4C Concept car has a 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol. It is called the 4C Concept because it uses a 4 cylinder 1750 Petrol Turbo engine that develops 200 horsepower. It can reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds. The body is made of carbon fiber and aluminium. Link
