Australian artist Jun Gil Park has been carving drawings into bananas lately, letting the natural oxidation of the scraped skin bring the image out.
The concept came to Park shortly after consuming the sweet and starchy insides of what would become his canvas. Toothpick in hand, he began to scratch the surface of the peel. The harder he scratched, the darker the lines became. After about five minutes the design emerged and a couple of days later the image had ripened to its full potential. link | via
