Gesine Marwedel, a German artist, uses the human body as a canvas for her beautiful body paintings.
In the artist’s words : “I started the bodypainting three years ago. Before that I painted on canvas and wood – than I turned to paintings on skin. At the moment I´m studying about possibilities of bodypainting in that field. Bodypainting can for example find a place in the aftertreatment of (breast-) cancer; it helps clients to encourage theirselves and to feel beautiful again.
It also can help to learn accepting bodily changes or to touch a partners or own scarred body parts. “ link
