Floating Chairs

Japanese design studio nendo will be displaying a collection of their works at the museum of arts and design in new york in an exhibition entitled 'ghost stories,new designs from nendo'. the show will feature projects including; 'fade out-chair', 'phantom waves' and blown fabric. It`s an acrylic chair that is painted with a wood grain. Its legs fade from walnut to clear so that when it is placed against any backdrop, it appears to be floating above the ground .Source
