$33,000 LEGO Chairs

Dutch designer Mario Minale created this Red Blue LEGO Chair made entirely out of LEGO bricks and aluminum. The LEGO bricks make the chair 6% larger than the original iconic Red-blue chair by Gerrit Rietveld. An aluminium frame makes it possible to sit on it. Because of copyrights this chair is only available in a limited edition as an art project and is estimated to fetch between £20,000-25,000. but it provides an interesting thought on how we can create classic design by our own means.
