I’ve seen this in Oahu, and while it may be inane for people not from these parts, it’s common for signs about businesses, yard sales, dogs, and especially political campaigns to go up all over the road and highway-side. This kind of signs is to prevent that.
But yes, I do find it funny when I drive past one.”
