Have you ever been able to catch a moment for ever, in something other than your mind? Well, this artist could do it…inside a watch! This is a series of miniature time-based sculptures, in which artist Dominic Wilcox used a collection of vintage mechanical watches, and added customised model figures. The idea was that by attaching tiny figures into the second and minute hands of each watch, animated scenes from everyday observations and imagined situations will be created. Link
UC Davis Protest
The real photograph taken by Wayne Tilcock during a peaceful protest at UC Davis made the artist want to capture this incident in time, while the protesters were sitting, the officials pepper sprayed them.
Love and Protest
The artist here tries to bring some love inside this scenary by making a protester and a soldier kiss. Quite a kiss by the way!

In this case…Maybe this man just wanted to admire the passing of time while doing nothing, maybe life has exhausted him too much. He needs a break!

These three prospective WAGs are trying to catch this football player’s attention after he has won a game with the team. The trophy is a pound symbol (£), maybe because after wining he’ll be rich? Who knows!

As the name states, this watch sweeper is sweeping away all the inside of this watch, including numbers, and its little hands!
Pigs shall fly
This may well be a book title called “The Adventures of a young vegetarian”, and the story will be basically like this: “A little girl tries to stop a butcher from chopping up a pig by hanging on his arm, while the pig floats away”… We don’t know if the story could be successful though!.
Captured
Cameras, people photographing and videoing, everyong taping everyone… this is the world we currently live in! There’s no need to put a sign on that says: “Smile, you’re being taped”, because nowadays, everyone knows that!

People sometimes are so caught up in their own worlds, that they fail at noticing how other people may need help. This elderly woman is walking round and round while these 2 men are doing whatever.
Tech Addict
Representing the current world: This man is so engrossed in his iPhone that he fails to notice a monkey on the head of a weightlifting boy standing on the arm of an elderly rollerskater… Lol This can actually happen! Many people don’t seem to be able to take away their eyes off their notebooks, tablets, cell phones, Ipods, you name it!
London Looter
A hooded young man is stealing this LCD tv while a riot policeman looks on passively… Let’s just hope that not every policeman does this, or we’re screwed!

Hide ‘n’ seek
Childhood memories… who hasn’t played hide and seek during childhood? This is an actual “moment caught in time”, just like the artist intended his work to be.
