Conrad Zdzierak, a 30-year-old Polish immigrant, used one of Slusser’s masks to disguise himself as a black man during a series of Ohio robberies last spring. The costume was so good that six of seven bank tellers wrongly identified an African American man as the culprit in a photo lineup, said Det. Man Robs Bank Disguised As Tree
A man was arrested and charged with robbing a bank while disguised as a tree.
CCTV footage shows the man entering the bank with branches and leaves taped to his body.Was raider barking mad? After patiently waiting in the queue with fellow customers, the man makes his move, ordering the bank cashier to fill a bag full of cash, Fox News reported.
Unfortunately for the suspect, a dye pack inside the bag exploded.
And in a second stroke of bad luck, the man’s face could be clearly seen by the CCTV camera through his foliage. He was later arrested at his home in Manchester, New Hampshire.link

Burglary suspects drew masks and beards on their faces using permanent marker pen
Police in Carroll, Iowa arrested these two “creative buglars” for attempting to break into a home, when they discovered their ingenious disguises to shield them from being recognized.
Police received a call Friday night that two men with hooded sweatshirts and painted faces had tried to break into a man’s home in Carroll, Iowa.
When police stopped a vehicle matching the caller’s description blocks away, they were stunned by the men’s disguises. Matthew Allan McNelly and Joey Lee Miller couldn’t come up with ski masks, so they improvised with black magic marker.link

Another use for duct tape… Kasey G. Kazee, wrapped his head in duct tape before attempting to rob a liquor store in Kentucky. The staff at the liquor store nabbed him for the cops. When police arrived, they peeled the duct tape off of him and charged him with first-degree robbery. Kazee emphatically denied being the duct tape bandit.
