10 Extraordinary People with Real Superpower
November 15, 2008 by seoFrom men who can’t feel any pain or cold, to other people who eat air planes and have the ability to remember every little detail of absolutely all of her life. Meet 10 Extraordinary People with Real Superpower.
1 – The boy who sees without Eyes,

This boy named Ben Underwood taught himself how to use echo location so that he can see the world through sounds. His eyes were removed at the age of 3 due to cancer, and he is completely blind. He now moves around the world with the ability of a sonar, or a dolphin….or why not.. like Daredevil! This surely fits into the category of extraordinary people, don’t you agree?
2 – The Man Who Doesn’t Feel Cold

Wim Hof, the 48-year-old dutchman A.K.A “The Iceman”, has swam under the ice, has stood in bins filled with ice, and climbed the Mt. Blanc in shorts outside the freezing cold! Scientists are not able to explain how this man can endure such low temperatures that would kill regular people! But we do…. He is “Mr. Freeze”! Do you see Batman chasing him? He’s hidden behind that mountain! Watch out people, Mr. Freeze is on the loose!
3 – The boy with Ultra-Fast Brain

Daniel Tammet is the name of one the most extraordinary people you will hear about, he is an autistic savant! He has the ability to perform mind-blowing, and complicated math calculations at a speed that cannot be described. Daniel also says that up to 10,000, each number has its own characteristic shape and feel, and that he sees the results of these calculations as landscapes. He also has the ability to “sense” if a number is prime or composite, and that for him the number 289 has an ugly visual image, 333 an attractive one, and pi is beautiful. He is also capable of learning new languages very fast, in order to prove this, he was challenged to learn Icelandic in one week for a Channel Five documentary, FYI Icelandic is believed to be one of the world’s most difficult languages to learn! Pretty awesome! Most of us wish we had your brain Daniel.

4 – The Woman Who Can’t Forget

The story of AJ (a code name to protect her privacy), one of the 10 extraordinary people you will see here, began 6 years ago when said to a neurobiologist: “I have a problem. I remember too much”. This 40-year-old married woman can remember everything, and is called “the human calendar”. Her condition is called “hyperthymestic syndrome”.
She has a “nonstop, uncontrollable and automatic” memory both, of her personal history and public events as well. If you were to pick a date from the past 25 years, you can ask her and she will provide you with elaborate and verifiable info and details about it, she can also bring up a given topic that for her was relevant that day, and she can even remember the day in which it happened, and what the weather was like! Wow, if women normally have a good memory and remember all of their partner’s “little mistakes”, imagine if your girlfriend or wife had AJ’s memory! What would happen to you?…
5 – The Man Who moves objects with his Mind

Miroslaw Magola, is known as the“Magnetic Man” because with the power of psycho kinesis he can raise lifeless objects, from metal pans to marble statues, and transport them through the air simply by using mind control. He has developed his ability so much, that he can jump around while having an object stuck to his head that won’t lose grasp of the item, he can also make the objects spin or shake. While conventional science can’t explain to date his extraordinary ability, he explains: “It works because I load myself with energy (I connect myself to it) and at the same time I wish for the object to raise.” Most of us wish we had this mind power so that early in the morning, and only using our minds, we could be able to throw our alarm clocks against the wall when it suddenly starts making those awful noises!
6 – The woman who can laugh with a peak volume of 110 decibels

Jittarat Wongsomboon is a 55 years-old woman from Thailand, who participated in Ripley’s International Laughing Contest in a town called “Pattaya”. Believe it or not, she won this strange competition by laughing for 12 minutes and 26 seconds, and by reaching a booming volume of 110 decibels! Yeap, true story!
7 – Monks generating magical heat energy from their bodies

Who is one of the most extraordinary people in the world? Buddhist monks! They use a meditation technique called Tum-mo, and by using this, they can lower their metabolism by 64 percent. Just so you can have an idea, our average metabolism can only drop 10 to 15 percent when we are asleep! And one more thing that no one knows how… monks can even increase their fingers and toes temperatures by 17 degrees! Amazing, right?
8 – The Man Who Doesn’t Feel Pain

Tim Cridland is an entertainer who specializes in swallowing swords, walking on fire, sleeping on beds of nails -once even with a Toyota over him-, and also in electrocuting himself! Yeah, whereas Tim says he can do this “because he has mastered mind over matter”, researchers say it’s because he was born with a mutation that doesn’t allow him to feel pain the way regular people do, this means, the malfunctioning of receptors of his nerve cells do not tell his brain that he is in pain, but he can feel touch and temperature, it’s not like he can’t feel anything! Just pain! Lucky him!

9 – The man who claps as Loud as a Helicopter

If you are thinking about an effective way to distract people easily, try clapping your hands making a noise similar to that of helicopter’s blades!!! Zhang Quan is a 70-year-old man from China who wants to get into the record books for being able to clap his hands only 3 decibels lower than whirling helicopter blades! Apparently, his claps measured 107 decibels, and workers from the environmental protection bureau are saying that Zhang could be arrested for noise pollution if he were to clap his hands too often!
10 – The Man Who eats Everything

Michel Lotito has a stomach lining which is twice as thick as normal, and it is a rare condition that most doctors are not sure how it occurs. This man can eat metal, glass, as well as toxic and poisonous material! He also consumes mineral oil and drinks tons of water. His gastric juices, or digestive acids, are unusually powerful, which is the only explanation on how he can digest metallic feasts! He entered the Guinness book of records after eating… get this: an airplane!!! It took him TWO YEARS to finish it! (1978 to 1980) If this man isn’t one of the most extraordinary people you’ve heard about, then tell us more stories!
