Time-lapse photography – one of the most fascinating and popular effects in cinematography can be created with your camcorder, your computer and some tips.

Is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.

The technique has been used to photograph plants growing and flowers opening, crowds, traffic, and even television.
